Norwood News spoke to a man called Jason who was at the scene earlier that day. He said people heard a loud thud at one point but hadn’t realized for around 10 minutes that the little boy had fallen, and that it wasn’t until someone started calling out asking for help that people started to gather.
Jason shared a video of the incident with us, which we are not publishing but a cropped screenshot is included above of police at the scene.
He also said the little boy was dressed in what he described as a diaper. He said he does not know the affected family directly.
We will share any further updates we receive.
