University Heights: Police Appeal for Help Identifying Two Sought for Gunpoint Robbery

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the two people seen in the attached video and photos who they say are wanted in connection with a gunpoint robbery that occurred in the University Heights section of The Bronx. 

Police said that on Saturday, July 11, at around 10.05 p.m. at the intersection of West 183rd Street and Grand Avenue, a 23-year-old male victim was approached by two unidentified people.

THE NYPD IS asking for the public’s help identifying this person who is one of two people sought in connection with a gunpoint robbery that took place at intersection of West 183rd Street and Grand Avenue in the University Heights section of The Bronx on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

They said the suspects displayed a gun, stole a diamond pendant from the victim’s neck, and then fled the location on foot to parts unknown. They said there were no injuries reported following the incident.
