New York Lottery officials announced Wednesday, July 22, multiple top-prize winning tickets were sold for the July 21 Take 5 midday drawing, including in The Bronx.
They said one prize-winning ticket worth $8,824 was sold at Pelham Deli Inc, located at 3026 Buhre Avenue in the Pelham Bay section of The Bronx and another, also worth $8,824, was sold at 50B West Burnside Avenue in Morris Heights.
Lottery officials said TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39, and added that the drawing is televised twice daily at 2.30 p.m. and at 10.30 p.m. They said a lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
They went on to say that the New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.6 billion in fiscal year 2024-2025 to benefit public schools in New York State.
