Fordham Manor: Man Sought for Allegedly Pushing 2nd Man in Front of Train

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo and video who they say is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred, in transit, at the Fordham Road subway station, serving the D train.

 

Police said that on Saturday, June 27, at around 2.20 p.m., the victim, a 47-year-old male, was standing on the southbound platform for the “D” line at the Fordham Road/Grand Concourse subway station when he was approached by an unidentified male individual.

They said the male individual pushed the victim into an arriving “D” train. The victim did not fall to the tracks but sustained injuries to the mouth and face when his head hit a moving train car. They said the suspect fled to parts unknown and the victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
