Wakefield: Three Sought for Robbery & Assault of 68-Year-Old Woman on White Plains Road

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the three people seen in the attached photos, who police say are wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in the Wakefield section of The Bronx.

Police said that on Tuesday, June 9, at around 9.50 a.m. in front of 4600 White Plains Road, a 68-year-old female victim was approached by three unidentified males.

 

“One individual forcibly threw the victim to the ground, struck her multiple times on the head, and removed her purse,” a police spokesperson said. “The remaining two individuals acted as lookouts during the incident. The individuals fled the location on foot to parts unknown. EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to Montefiore Medical Center in stable condition.”
