THE NYPD IS appealing to the public for help locating the person named below and seen in this video who they say is sought in connection with the non-fatal shooting of a 14-year-old boy in the vicinity of Cruger Avenue and Burke Avenue in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx on Friday, May 29, 2026. Police said that on May 29, at around 3.50 p.m., in the vicinity of Cruger Avenue and Burke Avenue, a 14-year-old male victim was approached by Roderick Allen and the two got into a verbal dispute. They said Allen then displayed a gun and fired it at the victim. “As a result, the 14-year-old male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the left leg and a graze wound to his right leg,” a police spokesperson said.
“Roderick Allen fled the location on foot, traveling southbound on Cruger Avenue to parts unknown,” the spokesperson added. “EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health Hospitals, Jacobi, in stable condition.”

Police said Allen was last seen wearing black shorts, a white tank top, black sneakers, and a black hat, as seen in the attached media. Allen is presumed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
