Bedford Park: Two People Hospitalized after Collision on Bedford Pk Blvd & Jerome Ave

Two people were hospitalized followed a traffic accident in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx on Friday, May 15, according to the FDNY/EMS.

A spokesperson said that emergency services received a call at 6.59 a.m. on Friday for a report of a motor vehicle collision with injuries at Bedford Park Boulevard and Jerome Avenue.

The area is a busy intersection not far from Lehman College, the Bedford Park Boulevard subway station and two gas stations.

The spokesperson said EMS transported two civilians to area hospitals and that their conditions and descriptions are unknown.

Norwood News reached out to the NYPD for more information on the collision but the press office said they had no information so far on the incident. We will follow up and share any additional information we receive.

As reported, one person was transported to hospital after a traffic accident involving a car and a bike on Goulden Avenue and West 205th Street on Wednesday, May 13, according to the FDNY/EMS.
