Two people were hospitalized followed a traffic accident in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx on Friday, May 15, according to the FDNY/EMS.

A spokesperson said that emergency services received a call at 6.59 a.m. on Friday for a report of a motor vehicle collision with injuries at Bedford Park Boulevard and Jerome Avenue.

The area is a busy intersection not far from Lehman College, the Bedford Park Boulevard subway station and two gas stations.

The spokesperson said EMS transported two civilians to area hospitals and that their conditions and descriptions are unknown.
