Mt. Hope: Police Search for Two Wanted for Bottle Assault

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the two people seen in the attached photos who they say are wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in the Mt. Hope section of The Bronx.

 

Police said that on Thursday, March 5, at around 7.15 p.m., a 28-year-old man was inside a business located at 124 East 176th Street when two unidentified people approached him and a verbal dispute ensued. “One of the individuals used a broken glass bottle to stab the victim in the back, while the other individual struck the victim in the face with a glass bottle,” a police spokesperson said. “The individuals then fled the location on foot and were last seen entering the 174-175 Streets subway station.”

Police said EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. They said the first suspect is  was last seen wearing a black jacket, multicolored pants, and white sneakers.

 

They said the second suspect was last seen wearing a black hat, a black jacket, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
