Kingsbridge: Male Sought for Assault on Elderly Man on New Year’s Eve

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached video and photo who they say is wanted in connection with an assault on an elderly person in the Kingsbridge section of The Bronx in December 2025.

 

Police said that on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025 (New Year’s Eve), at around 8.55 p.m., inside 225 West 232 Street, a 66-year-old male victim was leaving the location when an unidentified person approached him and got into a verbal dispute with him. They said the suspect then punched the victim in the face multiple times and fled on foot in an unknown direction. They said EMS responded and treated the victim on scene for minor injuries.

They said the suspect is described as male, has a light complexion, a slim build, long hair, and was last seen wearing a black hat, a black jacket, gray sweatpants, and white sneakers.
