Miraculously, there were no injuries reported after a van crashed on a Norwood street, landing on top of a parked car.
According to the NYPD, the crash was reported at 7.10 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, outside 3286 Hull Avenue located between East 207th Street and East 209th Street.

Upon arrival at the scene, police said officers from the 52nd Precinct were told by the unidentified 22-year-old driver of a 2016 Ford van that he had been traveling southbound along Hull Avenue when he struck a parked, unoccupied 2017 Honda sedan.

Both NYPD and FDNY spokespersons confirmed no injuries were reported following the crash. The street was closed to vehicular traffic until the van was removed from the top of the car.

On Wednesday, Jan. 14, both vehicles were observed parked at the crash site. When asked, the NYPD could not immediately say if any arrests or summonses had been issued.
