The NYPD said they’ve arrested the mother of 9-month old baby girl seen in the attached photo whose whereabouts had been sought in connection with a custodial interference incident that occurred in the Charlotte Gardens section of The Bronx.

 

As reported, police said Luveiya Williams, a 9-month-old baby girl of Bryant Avenue, The Bronx, was reported missing and the individual sought in connection to the incident was the baby’s mother, Alexandria Quinones, 29, of Boston Road, The Bronx, also in the Charlotte Gardens section of The Bronx.

 

Police said that on Friday, Jan. 9, at around 6 p.m. Quiñones visited the baby at her address on Bryant Avenue and later fled the location with her child. They said the baby was described as female, had brown eyes and a light complexion.

Police said Quiñones was described as female, had a medium complexion, black hair, and was last seen wearing a black, hooded jacket.

 

On Tuesday, Jan. 13, pursuant to an ongoing investigation, they said she was arrested the same day at 1.04 p.m. in the confines of the 43rd Precinct. They said her address was listed as Beach Avenue in the Van Nest / Parkchester section of The Bronx, and that she was charged with two counts of unlawful imprisonment, two counts of endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person, endangering the welfare of a child, and with custodial interference.

 

Police said the baby is no longer missing. Quiñones is presumed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
