Man Sought for Sexual Abuse Incident Aboard MTA Bus

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos who they say is wanted in connection with a sexual abuse incident that occurred aboard an MTA bus close to a Pelham Bay Park bus stop.

 

Police said that on Thursday, Sept. 4, at around 7.25 a.m., a 28-year-old female victim was aboard a BX12 MTA bus approaching Pelham Bay Park Bus stop when an unidentified individual sat next to the victim and began rubbing his hand on her hips and buttocks.

They said the suspect also placed his finger on the victim’s belt loop and pulled her before exiting the bus on Bruckner Boulevard and Wilkinson Avenue, fleeing southbound on Amendola Place to parts unknown. They said there were no physical injuries reported as a result of the incident.

 

Police said the suspect is described as male, has a medium complexion and long dreads. They said he was last seen wearing a black headband, a black t-shirt, with a graphic design, and carrying a black backpack.
