Norwood: Man Sought for Groping Woman Aboard D Train

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted for questioning in connection with a groping incident that occurred on the public transit system in Norwood.

 

Police said that that on Sunday, Sept. 28, at around 2.08 p.m., a 48-year-old female victim was on a northbound D train in the vicinity of Bainbridge Avenue and East 206th Street / Norwood, when an unidentified person approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks. “The person then fled on foot to parts unknown,” a police spokesperson said, adding that there were no physical injuries reported following the incident.

 

Police said the suspect is described as male and has a dark complexion.
