West Farms: 58-Year-Old Man Found Deceased inside Building with Back Trauma

The body of a 58-year-old man was found deceased in the West Farms section of The Bronx, police said.

 

A police spokesperson said that on Monday, June 16, at around 10.30 a.m., officers from the 48th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding an aided man inside 915 Elsmere Place.

 

“Upon arrival, officers observed a 58-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to the back,” a police spokesperson said. “EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased at the scene. The Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation remains ongoing at this time.”

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending proper family notification.
