The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the two people seen in the attached video who police say are wanted in connection to an assault that occurred in a Williamsbridge deli.

Police said that on Saturday, May 31, at around 3.39 a.m., a 44-year-old male victim was waiting for his food order inside 3764 White Plains Road when a male and female entered the location. They said the female approached the victim, initiated a verbal dispute, and began to strike him about the body with an umbrella.

“While the victim was attempting to defend himself, the unknown male individual did approach and began to punch the victim,” police said. “The unknown male did then produce and repeatedly stab the victim in the torso, back, arms, and legs with an unknown sharp object.”

Police said the two assailants then fled the scene on foot to parts unknown. They said the victim sustained numerous stab wounds throughout the body and was removed to Jacobi Medical Center in Morris Park in stable condition.

Police said the first suspect is described as female, is 5 feet 4 inches tall, has a dark complexion, and long black hair. They said she was last seen wearing a black and white, checkered coat, blue sweatpants, and black shoes. They said the second suspect is described as male, and was last seen wearing a black, bubble jacket, blue shorts, and white and black shoes.
