The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the two suspects seen in the attached photos who they say are wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in University Heights.
Police said that on Friday, Nov. 28, at around 5.51 p.m., a 16-year-old male victim agreed to meet an unidentified person he had met online to purchase clothing at the intersection of West Fordham Road and Cedar Avenue.
They said that during the encounter, two people showed up, and one simulated a gun, made verbal threats to the victim, and the victim then proceeded to hand over $300 without receiving any clothing in exchange. They said the suspects then fled the location on foot, traveling westbound on West Fordham Road, to parts unknown. They said there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.

They said the first suspect is described as male, has a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a gray jacket, a black sweater, black pants and multicolored sneakers. They said the second suspect is described as male, also has a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, a black sweater, black pants, and black sneakers.
