Two Sought for Robbery Pattern Traced Across the 52nd Precinct

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo and video who they say is one of two people wanted in connection with a robbery pattern traced across the 52nd Precinct.

 

Police said the first incident took place on Saturday, Feb. 28, at around 2.25 p.m. in front of 3360 Hull Avenue in Norwood. They said a 25-year-old female victim was approached from behind by two people on a moped and stole the victim’s necklace from around her neck. They said they then fled the location on a moped, traveling southbound on Hull Avenue. They said the victim sustained pain and redness to her neck but was not hospitalized.

 

Police said the 2nd incident took place on Saturday, Feb. 28, at around 2.48 p.m. opposite 325 East 206th Street in Norwood, a 17-year-old male victim was approached from behind by two people on a moped who pushed him into a fence, displayed a gun, and stole the victim’s chain from around his neck. They said the two then fled on a moped, traveling westbound on East 206th Street. They said the victim sustained pain and redness to his neck but was not hospitalized.

Police said the third incident took place on Saturday, March 7. They said that at around 5.50 p.m. at University Avenue and West 183rd Street in the University Heights section of The Bronx, a 22-year-old female victim was approached by two people on a moped who stole the victim’s necklace from around her neck and then fled on the moped, traveling southbound on University Avenue. They said the victim sustained minor injuries to her neck but was not hospitalized.

 

Police said the fourth incident took place on Saturday, March 7. They said that at around 5.55 p.m. in front of 2821 Briggs Avenue in Bedford Park, a 32-year-old female victim was approached by two people on a moped who struggled with the victim, hit her in the arms, and stole two chains from around her neck. Police said the two then fled on the moped to parts unknown and the victim sustained pain and redness to her neck but was not hospitalized.
