Inquiring Photographer: Thoughts on NY AG’s Office Ongoing Investigation into the Trump Organization

This week, we asked readers their thoughts on the announcement on Jan. 18, by the New York State Attorney General’s Office that its ongoing investigation into the Trump Organization has preliminarily determined that the organization used fraudulent and misleading asset valuations to obtain economic benefits.   “He should go to jail. I think [former President Donald J.] Trump should be brought up on charges of fraud and tax evasion, or whatever claims the attorney general finds, because he’s not above the law. He’s just as guilty as anybody else who breaks the law. I’ve seen enough evidence [of] what happened

Inquiring Photographer: Thoughts on President Joe Biden’s First 100 Days in Office

This week, we asked readers for their thoughts on President Joe Biden’s job performance after 100 days in office.   “Well, my expectations were pretty low because I’m old enough to remember Biden through the decades and I’m pleasantly surprised, not because I think he’s had a change of heart, but because conditions have become dire. I think the Trump interregnum was a real wake-up call for – let’s call it – the establishment, our governing pooh-bahs. Inquiring Photographer: Solar Eclipse Hype?

This week we asked readers if they witnessed last week’s partial solar eclipse and if the hype of the event lived up to their expectations. I watched it, but I really didn’t know what to expect. Inquiring Photographer

This week we asked readers their thoughts on Pope Francis’ momentous visit to New York City. I watched it on TV; I didn’t even try to see him. My niece went and she asked me why he didn’t kiss her and I don’t have an explanation for that. I don’t know why he didn’t or if she was supposed to [have been], or if he was supposed to or not supposed to. I don’t have an explanation. But she said it was a good experience. Yeah, the traffic was really bad. It kind of got me upset. I didn’t know what was happening at first.

Atop St. Patrick’s Home, Edible Veggies Abound

When a chef and an engineer join forces, it can be a recipe for a rooftop garden. At least, this has been the case in one Bronx nursing home. For about four years, several employees at St. Patrick’s Rehabilitation and Health Center, a skilled nursing facility in Van Cortlandt Village, have grown vegetables and spices out of buckets placed on the roof at 66 Van Cortlandt Park So. The home was founded in 1931 by seven women who would eventually become sisters affiliated with the Carmelite Order. The facility provides 24-hour nursing care and religious support services regardless of a
