Con Ed Asks Northwest Bronx & Northern Manhattan Customers to Conserve Energy

Con Edison is asking customers in the northwest section of the Bronx, and the northern tip of Manhattan to conserve energy while company crews repair equipment. Con Edison officials said it has reduced voltage by 8 percent in both areas to protect equipment and maintain service as repairs are made.
