Kingsbridge Heights Man Charged with Alleged Murder of his Wife, an NYPD Officer

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced on Tuesday, July 12, that a Bronx man has been charged with second-degree murder and additional charges for allegedly stabbing his estranged wife, a New York City police officer, in her home.   Clark said the defendant, Argenis Baez, 33, last of Sedgwick Avenue in Kingsbridge Heights, was arraigned on Tuesday, on second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon before Bronx Supreme Court Justice Ralph Fabrizio.   According to the investigation and as reported, at approximately 2:06 a.m. on June 13, Baez allegedly went to the apartment of Arianna
