Bank Robbery A bank robbery suspect is on the run after passing a note to a teller, getting the money, and fleeing in a motorized handicap scooter in Fordham. Police say the incident happened at the Banco Popular at 301 E. Fordham Road on Aug. 2 just before 3 p.m. The suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller did what they were told and gave an undisclosed amount of money to the thief, who sped off in the scooter heading westbound on East Fordham Road. The suspect is described as black, 50 to 55 years old,
