Kingsbridge: Search for Two Men Wanted in Connection with Gas Station Robbery

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the two men seen in the attached surveillance photos in the context of a burglary that occurred in the 50th precinct, in Kingsbridge.   On Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020 at around 7.10 p.m., inside a gas station located at 317 West 230th Street, the two men entered the gas attendant’s booth, and removed approximately $1,200 dollars before fleeing northbound on Riverdale Avenue in a black SUV. DSNY Issues ‘Winter Operations Advisory’ for Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 12:01 a.m.

Due to the chance of winter weather in the forecast, the New York City Department of Sanitation has issued a Winter Operations Advisory for Wednesday, January 20 starting at 12:01 a.m. Snow showers are expected beginning in the early morning and continuing through the afternoon. No roadway accumulations are expected. The department’s salt spreaders are ready and may be actively spreading salt, if necessary.   The department is coordinating with other City agencies on snow clearing protocol in accordance with each agency’s written snow plan.    The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of Asiamarie Ortiz, 16, of 3424 Gates Place in the Norwood section of the Bronx, who was reported missing in the 52nd precinct.   Asiamarie was last seen at her home at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021. She is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, has  brown eyes and brown hair. City Will Arrange Transportation for NYC Seniors to Get Vaccinated

Update: Man Arrested on Murder Charges in Death of 27-Year-Old Man Shot in Neck in Claremont

On Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 at approximately 1.07 a.m., police responded to a call regarding a person who had been shot in front of 1779 Fulton Avenue in the Claremont section of the Bronx, in the 42nd precinct.   Upon arrival, officers observed a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his neck, unconscious and unresponsive.
