Search for Missing 17-Year-Old last seen in The Bronx

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 17-year-old youth who was reported missing on Sunday, May 23, in the 42nd precinct.   Jamel Martinez, 17, of 440 East 105 Street, Apartment 10D in Manhattan was last seen at 950 Jennings Street, in the vicinity of Charlotte Gardens in The Bronx, at 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 22.   Jamel is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. Fordham Manor: Three-Vehicle Car Accident Causes Damage but No Injuries

  The NYPD confirmed an accident involving three vehicles occurred at Fordham Road and Webster Avenue on the border of Fordham Manor and Fordham Heights, last weekend. Norwood: Two Men Wounded on Gun Hill Road in Drive-by Shooting

Police are looking for the gunman who opened fire on two men as they walked along East Gun Hill Road in Norwood, in the 52nd precinct. According to one official at One Police Plaza, the shooting took place at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 23, on the sidewalk outside 275 East Gun Hill Road, a six-story, occupied apartment building between Putnam Place and Perry Avenue. Police Confirm Two Men Shot at 182nd St. Subway Station in Fordham Heights

The NYPD confirm that two men were shot at 182nd Street subway station (servicing the B & D lines) on the Grand Concourse in Fordham Heights in The Bronx on Saturday, May 22.   Users of the Citizen’s App had reported that police said the incident unfolded on the mezzanine level of the station at around 6 p.m. on Saturday. Friends of Hutchinson River Greenway Hold Clean-Up Event

Local biking enthusiast and Bronxite, Kevin Daloia, recently re-formed the environmental group, Friends of the Hutchinson River Greenway. Update: 83-Year-Old Man Dies at Co-op City Care Center, 87-Year-Old Man Arrested

  Police have arrested an 87-year-old man following an incident at a care center in Co-op City during which an 83-year-old man died.   On Friday, May 21, at approximately 7.16 p.m., police responded to a call regarding an aided person inside one of the rooms at Pinnacle Multi-Care Center, located at 801 Co-op City Boulevard in Co-op City, in the 45th precinct.   Upon arrival, officers observed an 83-year-old man lying on the floor, inside the location.
