The New York City Police Department is appealing to the public for help locating an 11-year-old girl from Fordham Heights who is reported missing. Police said that Alema Kalic, 11, of 2436 Marion Avenue in Fordham Heights was last seen on Sunday, June 4, at approximately 10.30 a.m., leaving a family member’s home located at 731 Bryant Avenue in Hunts Point. Police said Alema is described as female, is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, and weighs around 130 pounds. They said she was last seen wearing a gray sweater, an orange shirt, blue shorts, and black sneakers. The NYPD said two people have been arrested following a robbery and assault which took place in April 2023 in Kingsbridge Heights. Police had previously appealed to the public for help identifying the people seen in the attached photos who department officials said were sought for questioning in connection with the incident. Police said a New York City employee was arrested in the 52nd Precinct, which covers the Bronx neighborhoods of Bedford Park, Fordham, Kingsbridge, Norwood, Bronx Park, and University Heights. A police spokesperson said that on Sunday, June 4, at around 10.10 a.m., Jacet Williams, 32, a female NYPD police administrative aide, was arrested. The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached photo who department officials say is sought for questioning in connection to an assault that occurred in Fordham Manor. Police that on Thursday, June 1, at around 8.55 p.m., the victim, a 68-year-old man, was standing in the vicinity of Valentine Avenue and East 194th Street when he got into an argument with another person. The NYPD said they have arrested an 18-year-old male in connection with a homicide investigation following the fatal shooting of a second 18-year-old male in the Olinville section of The Bronx earlier this month. Three migrant construction workers in their twenties, one from Ecuador and one with a young family, who were seriously burned following a work place accident / flash fire in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx have filed a negligence lawsuit against BE Bronx Builders, LLC, Stagg Group, and Mark Stagg. The accident occurred at 739 East Gun Hill Road, a new building under construction, on Monday, May 15, as reported. The suit alleges that the named entities are liable for failing to protect their employees from danger while using flammable waterproofing materials, and causing severe burn injuries to them,
