The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached video and photos who they say are wanted in connection with an assault on an older adult that occurred in the Olinville section of The Bronx.
Police said that on Monday, May 19, at around midnight in the vicinity of 211th Street and White Plains Road, an 89-year-old female victim was waiting for an MTA bus when a dispute erupted between her and an unidentified individual. “The individual slapped the victim in the face as another unidentified individual pushed her,” a police spokesperson said.

“The victim fell and [sustained] serious physical injuries about the body,” the spokesperson continued. “The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacob in critical but stable condition.
Police said the first suspect fled on an MTA bus “traveling south westbound,” and the second suspect fled on foot southbound on White Plains Road to parts unknown.
They said the first suspect is described a female, and was last seen wearing a black shirt, a black jacket, blue jeans, and unknown footwear. They said the second suspect was described as male, last seen wearing a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and red sneakers.
As part of the recent Bronx Week 2025 celebrations, Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson honored the borough’s older adults and spoke about the importance of elder abuse prevention, as reported.
