Norwood: Two Sought for Armed Robbery

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the two people seen in the attached photos who they say are wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in the Norwood section of The Bronx.

 

Police said that on Thursday, March 5, at around 00.20 a.m., a 19-year-old female victim was approached by two people in the vicinity of East Gun Hill Road and Webster Avenue.

 

“One of the unidentified individuals, displayed a black firearm and demanded the victim’s property while the other individual removed the victim’s purse containing approximately $5,000,” a police spokesperson said. “The unidentified individuals then fled the location with the victim’s property on foot to parts unknown.” Police said there were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.

As reported, police are also appealing to the public for help identifying two other people who are also sought in connection with a commercial burglary that also occurred in Norwood on Sunday, March 1.
