Norwood: Three Hospitalized after Three-Vehicle Collision on Bainbridge Avenue

Three people were hospitalized following a three-vehicle collision in Norwood on Friday morning, May 30, accordiing to the emergency services.

 

An FDNY spokesperson said they received a call at 7.51 a.m. for a report of a motor vehicle accident at East 206th Street and Bainbridge Avenue.

They said in addition to the three people who were transported to Montefiore Medical Center’s Moses campus in Norwood, one other injured person refused medical attention. The condition and description of the injured persons is unknown.

We’re following up with the NYPD for more information and as of Friday afternoon, May 30, they did not have any further details.

 

In collision investigations, the NYPD handles all criminal aspects of the investigation, while NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) reviews the street design at the locations of such crashes.
