Someone’s Christmas was made a little happier as the New York Lottery announced multiple top-prize winning tickets were sold for the Dec. 24 TAKE 5 Evening drawing, including one which sold in East Bronx.
Lottery officials said one ticket was sold at Gun Hill Fuel Corp located at 1255 East Gun Hill Road in the East Bronx, worth $17,902.50. and one was sold at Inwood Pharmacy located at 4915 Broadway in Manhattan, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $17,902.50.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily at 2.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. A Lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.6 billion in fiscal year 2024-2025 to benefit public schools in New York State.
