Morris Heights: Man Wanted for Fracturing 2nd Man’s Face with Baseball Bat

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached media who they say is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in Mt. Hope.

 

Police said that on Friday, July 25, at around 00.54 a.m., a 31-year-old male victim was in front of 111 East 175th Street, when he got into a verbal dispute with an unidentified individual.

They said the person struck the victim in the face multiple times with a baseball bat, causing severe fractures to the victim’s face and head and then fled on foot to parts unknown.

 

“EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical but stable condition,” police said, adding that the suspect is described as male, has a light complexion, and was last seen wearing tan pants, a gray shirt, and a black hat.
