Honored during a ceremony that took place on n July 23, Montefiore officials said Martin, a physician in Norwood’s CHAM department of pediatric hematology, oncology, marrow and blood cell transplantation, was awarded the grant in recognition of her research contributions and efforts to improve outcomes for patients with pediatric brain and spinal cord tumors.
According to Montefiore officials, HHOW launched in 1998, and today, more than 850 Hyundai car dealers donate a portion of every vehicle purchase to the quest of ending childhood cancer.
