UPDATE Fordham Manor: 70-Year-Old Man Assaulted on BX-29

The NYPD has released additional media (attached) of a suspect wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in Fordham Manor and is asking for the public’s help identifying him.

 

Police said that on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at around 12.20 a.m., a 70-year-old male victim was on board a BX 29 bus at the intersection of Valentine Avenue and East Fordham Road when an unidentified person kicked him multiple times in the chest and ribs.

“The unidentified individual then fled the location on foot to parts unknown,” police said. “EMS responded and transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian Allen Hospital in stable condition.”

 

The suspect is described as male, has a dark complexion, is around 5 feet tall, weighs around 175 pounds, and was last seen wearing headphones, a white hat, a white shirt, tan cargo shorts, and a black backpack.
