A silver saloon with a Massachusetts registration plate, a smashed up hood and inflated airbags inside the vehicle was seen under the rain at around 1 a.m. on Monday morning at East 183rd Street and the Grand Concourse.

Norwood News spoke to some onlookers at the scene but none had witnessed the crash. One woman said she just heard a loud bang and had seen an ambulance drive away but didn’t know if anyone had been placed in it.

Another white vehicle was also seen nearby at the location but it’s unclear if it was involved in the crash or not. It did not appear to have incurred any damage.

As reported, one person was hospitalized in late October when another daylight car accident took place on the Grand Concourse and East 187th Street involving two vehicles.
