Soundview Killer sentenced to 83 Years for Two Murders and Wounding of One Victim’s Brother

Olinville: 33-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies following Road Accident

A 33-year-old man has died following a fatal road accident in the Olinville section of The Bronx, police said.   An NYPD spokesperson said that on Friday, June 16, at around 11.09 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a vehicle collision at East 217th Street and White Plains Road, within the confines of the 47th Precinct.   The spokesperson said that a preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was driving a 2017 Honda motorcycle traveling southbound on White Plains Road at East 217th Street when it collided with an elevated subway pillar and was ejected onto the roadway.

East Bronx: 60-Year-Old Man Survives Shooting with Minor Injuries

A 60-year-old man has survived a shooting with minor injuries on Saturday, June 17, in the Laconia section of the East Bronx.   A police spokesperson said the shooting occurred at around 8.30 p.m. at 1255 Adee Avenue. An 18-year-old male youth has been arrested following the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man on Saturday, June 17, in the Laconia section of the East Bronx, police said.   A police spokesperson said at around 4.40 p.m., officers responded to reports of a male shot at 1219 Adee Avenue. “Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male shot in the chest. EMS responded and removed the male to NYC Health & Hospitals/ Jacobi where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
