The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual in the attached surveillance photos who is wanted for questioning in connection to an assault/non-fatal shooting that occurred in the 47th precinct in the East Bronx. On Monday, Oct. 12, 2020 at around 6:37 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot inside 1486 Vyse Avenue in the 42nd precinct, in the Bronx. Upon arrival, police observed a 31-year-old man, who was unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the torso. EMS responded and pronounced the man deceased at the scene. He was later identified as Dante Young, 31, of 548 East 183rd Street in the Bronx. There were no immediate arrests. The NYPD had been seeking the public’s assistance in locating Gregory Solorzano, 12, of 2755 Dewey Avenue, in the Throgs Neck section of the Bronx, who was reported missing in the 45th precinct. Gregory had last been seen leaving his home on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020, at around 12.15 in the afternoon. He was described as a 12-year-old boy, Hispanic, approximately 4 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 60 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying two individuals who appear in the attached surveillance video and photos in connection with a commercial burglary that occurred in Fordham Manor, in the 52nd precinct. On Friday, Oct. 30, 2020, at approximately 5.30 a.m., at 127 East Fordham Road (Fordham Jewelry), two unidentified men cut a hole in the roof and gained entry to the jewelry store, using a ladder. Once inside, the individuals removed approximately $100,000 worth of jewelry. The individuals later fled in a tan Chevy Tahoe to parts unknown.
