Police confirm that a man’s bike was stolen and that he was threatened with a bat in Mount Eden at around 2.45 p.m. on Sunday, 3 May. The incident occurred at East 170th Street and Grant Street. One male perpetrator was taken into custody, for whom charges are pending. A second suspect was last seen heading southbound on Morris Avenue from East 170th Street. Police and EMS responded to reports of an armed barricade at 1870 Andrews Ave S. in Morris Heights on May 1 at around 2:44 p.m. Police later reported that the suspect had taken hostages. By 3:00 p.m., police reported that the situation had been brought under control. The 35-year-old suspect was taken into police custody. Police confirm on Apr. 28 that they received a complaint of an assault on Monday, Apr. 27 at 10:53 p.m. inside a residence located in the vicinity of Knox Place and West Gun Hill Road, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct. CITIZEN reported that police responded at around 8:20 p.m. on Friday Apr. 24 to a now-confirmed shooting of a man in Morrisania in the South Bronx. The address reported for this incident was 635 Jefferson Pl. The 911 caller reported a Beige Ford Fusion was stolen from the scene by the suspects.
