Van Cortlandt Park: Man Arrested After Crashing Into Parked Cars and Pedestrians

A 43-year-old male was taken into custody after striking parked cars and pedestrians in Van Cortlandt Park at Mosholu Pkwy and Henry Hudson Pkwy on Jun. 17, 2020 at around 1:53 p.m. Charges are yet to be confirmed. First responders arrived at the scene. Seven people were hurt. None had life-threatening injuries.   All southbound lanes of the Henry Hudson Parkway were closed temporarily at the Mosholu Parkway. Woodlawn Heights: Man Arrested with Assault Rifle & “Disturbing Text” on Phone

On Sunday June 7, 2020, police reported that a Mount Vernon man had been arrested for criminal possession of an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle and criminal possession of a loaded firearm on Tuesday, June 2, at 11 p.m. in front of Behan’s Public House at 4299 Katonah Avenue in the Woodlawn Heights section of The Bronx. Norwood: Car Dispute Results in Overturned Vehicle, Arrest

  On Monday, Jun. 15, 2020 at approximately 10:30 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a motor vehicle collision in the vicinity of 30 East 208th Street within the confines of the 52nd precinct.   Upon arrival at the location, officers observed a 2017 BMW Suburban which had overturned.   Further investigation revealed that a 36-year-old male passenger of the vehicle grabbed hold of the steering wheel after a verbal argument took place with the 35-year-old female driver.
