NYPD Sergeant Arrested on DUI Charges in 50th Precinct

  On Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 3.20 a.m., Mario A. Morales, 47, an off duty NYPD Sergeant, was arrested and charged in the 50th precinct with charges of driving while intoxicated, and refusal to take a breath test.   According to publicly available records, Morales became a police officer on March 1, 2000. Fordham Manor: Man Sought following Assault & Robbery

Update: Arrest Made in Olinville Murder

A man has been arrested on murder charges in the case of the death of 39-year-old Robert Hill who was shot in Olinville, in April and later died from his wounds.   Police responded to a 911 call, on Tuesday, regarding a person who had been shot at East 216th Street and Olinville Avenue in the Olinville section of the Bronx, located in the 47th precinct.
