Fordham Manor: Man Sought following Store Robbery

Mt. Hope: 26–Year-Old Man Critical after Road Collision

A 26-year-old man is in critical condition, following a road collision in Mt. Fordham Manor: Nonprofit, KISS, Provides Overdose Training in St. James Park

In efforts to combat the alarming number of opioid overdose deaths in The Bronx, one local nonprofit, recently held an overdose prevention event at St. James Park in Fordham Manor, during which 240 “Narcan” kits were distributed and training was provided on how to use them to save a life during an overdose situation.   In 2020, a total of 1,580 New Yorkers died from a fentanyl-involved overdose, according to the City’s health department (DOH). Williamsbridge: Permits Filed for New Building at 3030 Colden Avenue

Building applications have been filed with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) for a new, 4-story residential building at 3030 Colden Avenue in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx, as reported by YIMBY.   Located between Burke Avenue and Adee Avenue, the lot is near the Burke Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Williamsbridge: Two Gunmen Sought following Multiple Nonfatal Shooting

  The identity of two gunmen is sought by the NYPD following a “reckless endangerment” incident (shooting) that occurred in Williamsbridge. Police are seeking the public’s help identifying and locating the two people seen in the attached video footage who are sought for questioning in connection to the shooting.   It was reported to police that on Sunday, Sept. 25, at around 2.39 p.m. in the vicinity of Holland Avenue and Magenta Street, two unidentified “males” riding a moped, fired multiple shots into Magenta Park. “There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident,” an NYPD spokesperson said.
