A 26-year-old man is in critical condition, following a road collision in Mt. Hope, police said. In efforts to combat the alarming number of opioid overdose deaths in The Bronx, one local nonprofit, recently held an overdose prevention event at St. James Park in Fordham Manor, during which 240 “Narcan” kits were distributed and training was provided on how to use them to save a life during an overdose situation. The identity of two gunmen is sought by the NYPD following a “reckless endangerment” incident (shooting) that occurred in Williamsbridge. Police are seeking the public’s help identifying and locating the two people seen in the attached video footage who are sought for questioning in connection to the shooting. It was reported to police that on Sunday, Sept. 25, at around 2.39 p.m. in the vicinity of Holland Avenue and Magenta Street, two unidentified “males” riding a moped, fired multiple shots into Magenta Park. “There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident,” an NYPD spokesperson said.
