Police confirm that a 39-year-old male was shot once in each leg by a 23-year-old male after a dispute on 7 May, 2020. The incident location reported to police was Walton Avenue and Elliot Place. The victim was taken to Lincoln hospital in a stable condition. The 23-year-old suffered a head injury and was also taken to Lincoln hospital, in a stable condition. Mayor Bill de Blasio announced on May 7 that, beginning next week, antibody testing will be offered on an appointment-only basis for approximately two weeks in Morrisania, East New York, Upper Manhattan, Concord, and Long Island City.
