On Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at approximately 10:41 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a male stabbed inside of 20 Richman Plaza in apartment #22F within the confines of the 46th precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 38-year-old male with multiple stab wounds about the body. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to BronxCare Health System, where he was pronounced deceased. A 28-year-old male was taken into custody from the scene and the investigation remains ongoing. A 43-year-old male was taken into custody after striking parked cars and pedestrians in Van Cortlandt Park at Mosholu Pkwy and Henry Hudson Pkwy on Jun. 17, 2020 at around 1:53 p.m. Charges are yet to be confirmed. First responders arrived at the scene. Seven people were hurt. None had life-threatening injuries. All southbound lanes of the Henry Hudson Parkway were closed temporarily at the Mosholu Parkway. The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual shown in the attached video and photograph in connection with a criminal mischief incident that occurred within the confines of the 52nd precinct in Norwood. It was reported to police that on Tuesday May 19, 2020, at approximately 3:45 a.m., at 333 East 206th Street (St. Brendan’s Church), the individual used a rock and then his body to break the front glass door. The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual shown in the attached photo who is wanted for questioning in connection to a burglary which took place within the confines of the 52nd precinct. On Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at approximately 9:50 a.m., an unidentified individual entered a residential location in the vicinity of Marion Avenue and East 193 Street through an unlocked front door. Police said that an 18-year-old male was accidentally struck in the chest by a lit firework on Wednesday, Jun. 17, 2020 at 00:56 a.m. in front of 2410 University Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd precinct. EMS responded and the person was transported to NY Presbyterian Hospital. At this time is it unclear if the man was targeted by someone with the fireworks or not. On Sunday June 7, 2020, police reported that a Mount Vernon man had been arrested for criminal possession of an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle and criminal possession of a loaded firearm on Tuesday, June 2, at 11 p.m. in front of Behan’s Public House at 4299 Katonah Avenue in the Woodlawn Heights section of The Bronx.
