An affordable housing lottery has been launched for new units at 2885 Marion Avenue, an eight-story mixed-use development in Bedford Park, The Bronx, as reported by New York YIMBY, the architecture, construction, and real estate website.   Designed by OCV Architects, the 118,000-square-foot building will yield 114 units. Update: Video Released in Fordham Heights Murder Investigation of 28-Year-Old Man

On Monday, Feb. 22, 2021 at approximately 10.55 p.m., the NYPD responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot in front of 2078 Morris Avenue in the Fordham Heights section of the Bronx, in the 46th precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 28-year-old man lying on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the chest.   EMS also responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Update: Man Arrested in Pelham Parkway Murder Investigation

A man has been arrested in the context of a recent Pelham Parkway murder investigation.   On Monday, Feb. 22, 2021 at approximately 9.38 a.m., police responded to a 911 call in the 49th precinct regarding an unconscious man inside 2140 Cruger Avenue in the Pelham Parkway section of the Bronx. Upon arrival, police observed a 23-year-old man inside an apartment with multiple stab wounds to his torso.   EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. The deceased has been identified as Adam Saunders, 23, of East 42nd Street in Brooklyn.
