Off Duty NYPD School Safety Agent Arrested for Assault, Endangering a Child

On Monday, May 3, 2021 at 8.39 p.m, Valerie Collins, 55, an off-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged in the 45th precinct with assault and with endangering the welfare of a child. Collins is an NYPD school safety agent. No information was available for Collins on the NYPD’s public records site.   The 45th precinct contains six miles of park area, and 10.6 miles of waterfront. It covers the Bronx neighborhoods of Co-op City and City Island.   A person arrested and accused of a crime is innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.

Fordham Manor: Search for Person Wanted in Connection with Stabbing

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the person seen in the attached photo regarding an assault that occurred in the 52nd precinct. Bronx Man Gets 12 Years for Sexually Assaulting 12-Year-Old Girl in Building Alley

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced on Tuesday, May 4, that a Bronx man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in the Bronx in 2017.   Clark said, “The defendant followed a 12-year-old girl, who was on her way back home from a store, and sexually assaulted her in broad daylight. He also terrified the child by threatening to kill her and her family. DEC Announces MAY 2-8 is New York State Compost Awareness Week

Department of Labor Announces Ironworker Apprenticeships
