NYPD School Crossing Guard Arrested for Aggravated Harassment, Disobeying Court Order

Pelham Parkway: 23-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot

Police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot at 2143 Cruger Avenue in the Pelham Parkway section of the Bronx in the 49th precinct, on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at approximately 3.07 p.m.   Upon arrival, police observed a 23-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his chest, unconscious and unresponsive. EMS also responded and transported the man to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
