Police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot at 2143 Cruger Avenue in the Pelham Parkway section of the Bronx in the 49th precinct, on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at approximately 3.07 p.m. Upon arrival, police observed a 23-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his chest, unconscious and unresponsive. An unidentified, 19-year-old man is recovering after he was allegedly run over during a chain reaction vehicle crash which occurred near a ‘pop-up’ car wash in Williamsbridge.
