The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating Jazmary Thompson, 16, of Apt 10B, 1340 Stratford Avenue in the Soundview section of The Bronx, located in the 43rd precinct.   It was reported to the police that Jazmary was last seen Monday, May 31, at  3.30 p.m. inside of her home. She is described as being about 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 115 pounds, has a thin build, brown eyes with short, kinky brown and blonde hair. The NYPD have confirmed that a man from North Riverdale who had been reported missing has been found. Search for Man in Connection with Bronx-wide Forcible Touching Pattern

  The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individual seen in the attached surveillance video and photos in connection with a Bronx-wide, forcible touching pattern reported in the 42nd, 46th and 52nd precincts.   The first incident took place in the 52nd precinct. UPDATE Parents Arrested following Death of 8-Year-Old Boy

The parents of an 8-year-old boy from Williamsbridge who died last June have been arrested on murder charges.   Police responded to a call from Montefiore North Hospital emergency room regarding the child, who had been brought to the facility by his mother from his Williamsbridge home, on Tuesday, June 1, at around 2.10 p.m.   The child was unconscious and unresponsive, with no obvious signs of trauma observed. DOB Pledges Zero Tolerance, Announces Sweep of Construction Sites for Safety Violations

NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) Commissioner Melanie E. La Rocca announced on Tuesday, June 1, that teams of DOB enforcement inspectors will be deployed across the five boroughs to perform safety sweeps on “the city’s larger and more complex construction sites,” to ensure they are safe for both workers and the public.   DOB officials said that when performing these “zero tolerance” sweeps, DOB inspectors will issue enforcement actions if they observe any safety violations, and will shut down sites if they find serious safety lapses. “Our inspectors and community engagement teams will also be distributing “Worker Alert” safety information

School Safety Agent Arrested on Assault Charges

An off-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged with assault in the 49th precinct, which covers Allerton, Morris Park, Van Nest, Pelham Parkway, Eastchester Gardens, and Pelham Gardens.   Ashley Samuels-Johnson, 33, an NYPD school safety agent, was charged on Tuesday, June 1, at approximately 6.13 p.m.   Samuels-Johnson’s name does not appear in the NYPD’s public records database.   A person arrested and accused of a crime is innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
