Bedford Park: Fire at 2777 Webster Avenue Under Control

A fire in Bedford Park which broke out in a multiple dwelling on Sunday evening has been brought under control, FDNY officials confirmed.   The FDNY later confirmed to Norwood News that the department was alerted to the incident at 7.09 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20 and that it had been reported at 2777 Webster Avenue. 2022 Redistricting Brings Changes to The Bronx, Norwood Now under Congressional District 15

  Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz (A.D. 81) shared in his regular newsletter dated Feb. 2 that the New York State legislature would likely approve newly redrawn maps of The Bronx’s congressional districts, supported by the majority of State legislators, as part of the ongoing redistricting process which follows the 2020 census. Van Nest: Heartbreak Returns to Noble Avenue Building

For the second time in 10 years, detectives and crime scene investigators are investigating a brutal murder at a Noble Avenue building in the Van Nest section of The Bronx.
