The CDC has issued the following guidance with regard to the use of cloth face coverings. For more information, go to cdc.gov/coronavirus. DO Do make sure you can breathe through the face covering. Do wear the face covering whenever going out in public. Do make sure the face covering covers your nose and mouth. Do wash the face covering after using it. DON’T Don’t use the face covering on children under two years of age. Don’t use surgical masks or other personal protective equipment (PPE) intended for health care workers.

On Friday, May 15, 2020 at approximately 23:13 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a male who was shot at 380 East 201st Street, within the confines of the 52nd precinct. Upon arrival, officers found an unidentified adult male in his 20s, with gunshot wounds to the head and torso. EMS arrived at the location and transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, in critical condition. There are no arrests as of Monday, 18 May, and the investigation is ongoing. On Saturday, May 16, 2020 at approximately 7:24 p.m., police responded to a 911 call about shots that were fired in the vicinity of Creston Avenue and East 184th Street within the confines of the 46th precinct. Upon arrival, police conducted a ballistics search with negative results. There are no reported injuries as a result of this incident.
