Eviction Moratorium Extended to September 4, Bronx Affordable Housing Application Deadline Aug. 14

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that the moratorium on evictions in New York State has been extended to Sept. 4. Fordham Manor: Individuals Sought by NYPD in Burglary Pattern Probe

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified individuals who are seen in the attached photos, and are sought in connection with a burglary pattern identified within the confines of the 52nd precinct, in the Fordham Manor section of the Bronx.   It was reported to police on Monday, June 1, at 8.20 p.m., that at 301 East Kingsbridge Road, a group of unidentified individuals gained entry by forcing a roll-down security gate. According to a report by JAMA Dermatology, as COVID-19 infection spreads globally, dermatologists are recognizing a variety of skin manifestations in patients with the coronavirus. New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a civil lawsuit on Aug. 6 seeking to dissolve the National Rifle Association (NRA), the largest and most influential pro-gun organization in the nation. Storm Isaias Rips Through the Bronx – 20,000 Power Outages

  Tropical Storm Isaias ripped through an already bruised New York City on Tuesday, Aug. 4, causing approximately 300,000 homes to lose power, including about 20,000 in the Bronx according to Con Edison.
