The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Guillermo Chavez, 64, of 2604 Bainbridge Avenue, The Bronx. Chavez was reported missing on Monday in the 52nd precinct. He was last seen on Monday, Oct. 26, at around 8:45 a.m. inside his residence. He is described as being approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, is of medium build, and has brown eyes and brown hair. With some Bedford Park residents in quarantine amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, a few only learned of the horrific, senseless killing of Kevin Smith, 62, in the days that followed his death. Smith was stabbed twice in the chest, apparently after a brief exchange of words with his assailant on Thursday, Oct. 22.
