The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Journey Lyles, 11, of 545 St. Paul’s Place, Apt. 4C in Morrisania, reported missing in the 42nd precinct. Journey was last seen in her home 545 on Tuesday Jan. 5, 2020 at 12.30 in the afternoon. She is described as a female, Black, 4 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 100 pounds, has brown eyes, black hair and was last seen wearing a red jacket with a fur hood and black boots. On Friday, Jan. 8, 2021 at approximately 00.15 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been stabbed at the corner of Boynton Avenue and Westchester Avenue, in the 43rd precinct. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered an unidentified man lying on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple stab wounds to his body. EMS also responded to the location and transported the victim to Westchester Square Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing. At least two elderly women pushing shopping carts or strollers were injured in two separate hit and run incidents in the Bronx in December. Two fires reported at two different local restaurants, within days of each other, have resulted in one being shut temporarily and one being closed indefinitely. On Thursday, Dec. 17, at 7.14 p.m., the FDNY responded to a call for “all hands” in relation to a fire reported at El Buen Ambiente, a restaurant and bar, located at 108 East 198th Street in Bedford Park.
