Claremont Village: Police Appeal for Help Identifying Man Allegedly Attempting to Lure Child

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual seen in the attached photo who is sought for questioning in connection to an incident involving the alleged luring of a child which occurred in Claremont Village, located in the 42nd precinct.   It was reported to police that on Wednesday, June 2, at approximately 7 a.m., behind 420 East 169th Street, the person allegedly followed a 12-year-old girl and exposed his penis, while allegedly offering the girl money in an attempt to lure her. The NYPD said a 29-year-old woman reported missing on Tuesday, May 31, in Pelham Parkway, has been found.   It was reported to police that, prior to being found, Valerie Brown of Bronx Park East had last been seen on Tuesday, May 31, around 5 p.m., leaving her home. She was described as female, around 5 feet, four inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, Black, with an average build, a dark complexion, black hair in a ponytail and brown eyes.
